About the Artists:
Max Bianco is a singer-songwriter from Hartlepool, England (UK). Often compared to a modern day Woody Guthrie, he is a man of passion and spirit, which he shares in songs about life, loss and love. Max is a member of The Jar Family (2010-2018), a collective of five front men singer-songwriters from the North East of England. Although the band has an impressive following, they have decided to take a hiatus for an undetermined time, which has allowed Max time and freedom to pursue his solo career. Max began a search for international management and a record label for support and within weeks was signed.
Max is a troubadour in every sense of the word; with nowhere to go or be. “Life isn’t about standard, it’s about broken glass and cigarettes,” Max quipped in an interview. And so life has been for this rambler gambler traveller, who left home at the age of 14 with a guitar strapped on his back ready to take on the world. His adventures have always included making music and he has played in all kinds of bands with all kinds of musicians. Max creates modern contemporary folk music in true art form of folk legends: Woodie Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Harry Chapin, to name a few. With just enough kick of blues, funk and pop to make the sound appealing to multiple genres and very radio friendly.
