Fantasy Fest Rijswijk – Friendly Folk Stage 25/Oct/2020

We welcome the return of The Flask to the Friendly Folk Stage at Fantasy Fest Rijswijk Oct/2020 edition! The Flask are an energetic folk band from Delft, Netherlands. Their songs are fantasy stories set to music, with a repertoire that ranges from sensitive ballads to upbeat tempos, including covers and original numbers. The melodic sounds of four-part harmonies, guitar, tin whistles, violin, bodhran and cajon provide a festive atmosphere where the listener has no choice but to dance, laugh and sing along as they are whisked away to another world.

Although known in their hometown of Delft since 2012, this talented group of students hit the folk festivals in 2016 with an appearance at Archeon Midwinter Fair. The band have performed at various clubs and pubs and many a festival: Archeon Midwinter Fair, Fantasy Fest Rijswijk, and Rapalje Zomerfolk Fest.  Their debut single, Faerie Folk, was released via Friendly Folk Records (Dec/2019).  Currently The Flask are working on new original material with plans of releasing their first full album in Spring/2021 via Friendly Folk Records.
