‘Something New’, by Peel’s Myth
‘Something New’, the debut single from PEEL’S MYTH is a song about growing up in an idyllic world. Living in a quiet town in Scotland in a neighborhood filled with many happy children, there was always the feeling of safety and no worries. ‘Something New’ has a contemporary folk vibe, with layers of guitars and vocals which bring a sense of the sentimental warmth for those long lost childhood days. The banjo brings a country feel to the song. In addition you will hear a harmonica, which represents the peacefulness of the Scottish rural areas. From the smell of freshly cut grass, to the visual of an old man busy at work in the garden, ‘Something New’ brings back memories of carefree childhood days.
