Peel’s Myth sign with Friendly Folk Records

We warmly welcome Peel’s Myth to the Friendly Folk Records family. It was early March/2020, just one day before ‘social distancing’ and ‘Covid-19 lockdown’ became a part of our daily vocabulary, Peel’s Myth ventured to the Netherlands to sign their contract with Friendly Folk Records. Due to the current world situation, it took a few weeks to sort out details, but we can now confirm, Peel’s Myth will release their debut single July/2020. This will be a two-track single release. Titles of tracks forthcoming.

PEEL’S MYTH is the first solo project endeavor of singer songwriter, Paul Smith. Paul has been a musician for over twenty five years, and has played in many groups in and around his hometown of Ayr, Scotland. The Rielley Elfs, Minerva, Sunburst and Disco Volane to name a few. The debut single falls under the genre of Cosmic Folk, but Peel’s Myth are also diversified in a wide range of folk music, including Scottish traditionals.
